    I just started catfishing at paylakes last year. I'm just wanting to know when is the best time to fish for cats at a paylake, during the day or at night. The times I've been fishing, I've noticed I've seen more cats caught during the day then at night.

    during the summer i fish at night and sleep in the day predator fish (shoelhead/blues) are predator fish and they come into shallow waters at night to feed
