this time of year, its cut bait,night crawlers, or leaches. period.

well yeah i use alot of nightcrawlers and ive busted a couple of 30+ but imma have too try some leeches

Try bluegill head tipped with a leech, my three largest fish have either been trolling bluegill head or bluegill head tipped with a leech.
