    Big Daddy floats?

    Randy i know you use these floats, what size do you use and how much weight do they hold?

    i have a 10 inch one i use and with a ounce of weight it sits nice and low in the water

    Ya Thats what I use. Also have some 12" but don't like them as much. Too big

    I was thinking about trying the 8" with 1.36" diameter...
    I like the WBC floats but the paint chips off of them to fast and they get water loged and i seen these and they look the same except with the epoxy clear coat so the paint doesnt chip!

    I wrap mine with black tape up to where I want them to sit in the water, for two reasons. One so they don't chip and get water logged and also you can tell if you are just on the bottom.

    You know you could always spray your own clear coat on them. I have never done it but I'm sure it would help Shocked

    That's what I have used in the past Steve and will most likely go back to them next year.

    They hold 1 1/2 oz. nicely (leaving only the red showing) but it's hard to get 2 that hold that wieght and sit the same, I usually buy 3 or 4 to get 2 the same.

    I believe Castaway now stocks these.
