Why don't any lakes stock fish in the fall? I know a few that do. It is always nice to release fish when customers are around but the bottom line is the biggest fish are caught in the fall. I have been hauling alot of catfish the last couple of weeks and I have seen some really nice fish from 20 lb to 66 lb. I have seen several nice fish in the 50's.

Lakes do think they are gonna lose fish in the winter but its not the winter that kills the fish its the fish not being able to eat enough to fatten up for the winter cause most lakes dont have enough bait fish in them to support the amount of fish in there lakes... just my opinion.
