THE 2009 SEASON

Now that our 2009 season has come to a close, Lisa and
I just wanted to take a moment to say "thanks" to all
of you for a wonderful season. We've made alot of new
freinds and have seen a great increase in fish being
caught at our humble abode here in the north!!!
The 40&over pot was busted a record twelve times by
eight different fish, and only lost six fish over 20lbs
the entire season. We contribute a BIG part of that to
the way most of YOU handle these animals while their out
of the water.

from "catfishmamma" cookin and feedin us on the nights
she was there, to bluecat59 and his freinds helping all of our new visitors trying to hook into some fish, to everyone helping lifting and handling fish when Lisa
was there. The new #*&#%& fire pits seemed to do well,
and the newly stocked animals seem to be doing great!!!
We'll be makin a few minor changes for next season which
we'll be keeping all of you posted on through the winter.

We hope all of you have a prosperous winter, holiday, and new year and we're already excited about next season.

CHUCKS CURSE ON THE 40 AND OVER HAS BEEN BROKE!!!!

That sure is a good way to end the year.

yes it was!! and Chucks curse is broken now!!!
and, this fish is a new member to the 40& over!!!
( last caught on 4-8-09 and was 39.1 lbs!!)
lookin forward to the 50 & over pot next year!

Thats awesome Mark, gained 2.8lbs in 6 months. You do not see that at many lakes. Can not wait until next season, this will be the first lake I hit.

that fish must have been packing on some weight for the winter.what she catch him on mark

freshly dead crappie about 5-6 inches long.
we've had quite a few pets put on a little weight
this season;)

a whole dead crappie or cut.never heard of much hittin a whole dead fish?

she used it whole with the belly cut open

cincicat beleave it or not the fish at springwater are very healthy fight hard and alot of them gain weight that cant be said for many lakes

mark & lisa thanks for making springwater one of the better lakes and keeping it up and running .looking forward to another great year at springwater.buy the way i will put the ginx on those pots agin next year
