landed a 42.8 last nite and got the 40# jar.... not a very big payout but also my buddy and i both landed 30# blues. this was at castaway.

Hell yeah! Man Castaway is off the freakin hook... I really like that place. Let me guess, you hit it down on the shallow end of the lake? Around 8 feet deep?

we were set up toward the shallow end but i got this one throwing to the middle, bottom fishing with a circle hook. frozen shad head believe it or not! nobody else wetted a hook that whole day. talked about reels and such with larry and he sure is a squared away owner! too bad its an over 3 hour ride for me to hit castaway.............
